# ERAD 2026 short course

Good evening everyone! This topic is to start discussions on a short course at ERAD in Belgrade, Serbia in 2026. It would be great if we have some leadership from our European partners. Who knows where the US open radar science folks will be in terms of travel there. Djordje, the chair, has made it clear we are welcome.

Hi Scott @scollis,

thanks for using the momentum of AMS to reach out to Djordje. Good to know we are welcome in Belgrade already at this early stage. I’ve briefly talked to members of the Bonn radar group. In the next weeks we’ll connect with other European partners and I’m sure we’ll come up with a group of weather radar people to take the lead here by end of October (or earlier).

So addressing now all European base open radar science folks, please respond, if you want to be part of this ongoing journey of open radar science short courses.
