# RADAR-API - Simplified access to radar archive on the cloud

Hello everyone,

I’ve developed an easy-to-use library called **RADAR-API** that provides a simple, unified interface for searching and downloading data from various radar networks. You can find it on GitHub at [https://github.com/ghiggi/radar\_api](https://github.com/ghiggi/radar_api).

Currently, it supports searches for **NEXRAD** , **FMI** , and **IDEAM** radar data. The software has a modular design, so as soon as other meteorological services make their archives available in the cloud, adding a few YAML configuration files is all it takes to start accessing and reading new data (e.g., with **PyART** or **xradar** ).

I’d love to hear your feedback — suggestions for improvements, new features, or bug reports are all welcome!
