I am not sure if folks saw - but Sam Gardner worked with Kyle Barron (both attended the Scientific Python conference) on a new example showcasing xradar + lonboard!
For those unfamiliar with lonboard, here is a short snippet from their docs:

It is incredibly fast and smooth! Great seeing updates on this side, I am excited to see more development here
