I would like to implement a nested domain approach. I came across the function pydda.retrieval.get_dd_wind_field_nested, but I would appreciate it if you could kindly provide a simple working example demonstrating how to use this function effectively.
Additionally, I would be grateful for your guidance on selecting an appropriate domain configuration for both the outer and inner domains. In particular, I am interested in recommendations on suitable grid limits for each domain, and whether there are established strategies similar to those used in WRF (e.g., nesting ratios or domain design principles) that are applicable to radar wind retrieval.
Your advice on what works best for dual-Doppler radar wind retrieval would be very helpful for my work.
