Looking forward to meeting with everyone!
Here is the meeting link for tomorrow’s meeting! Looking forward to the discussion.
Here are the notes for the meeting:
I put together the start of the repository, with a directory including sample data
The data is from the University of Alabama Huntsville ARMOR radar, which is a C-band system. Does this seem like a reasonable dataset to use? Paired with the nearest NEXRAD radar to enable multi-Doppler retrievals.
Hey all!
I think it would be helpful to have a follow up meeting focused around the sample datasets to be used for the short course
Please fill out this availability poll for the next two weeks if you are interested in joining this conversation
It looks we have a time that works best for most people:
Tuesday April 25 at 10 AM Central (1500 UTC)
We will be using the same Meeting Link as the last meeting. Unfortunately this time does not work for everyone, but will be sure to share the link to the notes and contact everyone with associated updates.
Hi all. I just completed my registration for the conference. In the process I realized the cost of the Short Course registration is 195. The plan was for me to present the wradlib hands-on, am I also supposed to register and pay? The price is too expensive and my costs for attending this conference are already over-budget, unfortunately I cannot pay the registration for the course.
Hey @JulianGiles - since you are presenting the wradlib portion, you are exempt from paying. What is your email? I can send over a discount code.
This a reminder to please fill out the availability poll for our next planning meeting next week
Alright, great. My email is jgiles (at) uni-bonn.de. I think it is also written in the google docs of the meeting organization. Thanks
Sorry I’ve been out of the loop for a while. I just want to sincerely thank @mgrover1 and the plethora of others who have been organizing this. We really appreciate the incredible efforts of you all!
No worries @jmkurdzo ! Planning is moving along, we are currently at 20 attendees according to AMS. There is still room for more people - so please share across networks!
