Hello Community!
While working on ERAD2026 Open Radar Science Short Course - ERAD 2026 we shortly touched this in our last open radar meeting.
Over the years we created quite some teaching material in different courses and for different audiences, see Workshops - OpenRadarScience. As always interested people can just fetch the material and adapt it to their needs. If the code has become outdated, links do not resolve anymore and packages are gone this might get quite challenging.
What if we had a central repository where we keep the infrastructure and the material up to date? New workshops and courses could fork from it. The current GitHub - openradar/erad2026 · GitHub could act as a blueprint.
I think it was @scollis stating that for ERAD2026 we already serve a subset from a superset and could easily continue with this.
Ideas? Suggestions? Please join the discussion. The sky is the limit.
