within the past 10 days we’ve released 
xradar v0.7.0 (2024-10-26) and v0.8.0 (2024-11-04).

This is the last version to work with the standalone xarray-datatree.

This is the first version to work with the xarray based datatree.
xarray is pinned to >=2024.10.0.
Both are available on PyPI and conda-forge.
The datatree implementation between old xarray-datatree and the xarray-based datatree differs quite a bit, so we suggest to explore the xarray/DATATREE_MIGRATION_GUIDE.md at main · pydata/xarray · GitHub and the xarray doc on Data Structures.
Within xradar we tried to keep the impact as little as possible! If you find any issues with your current code, please head over to the xradar — xradar 0.8.0 documentation (which also got a decent lift) and check the updated examples. If you experience any bugs or have other sorts of problems, please open an issue.
At the same time we’ve fixed some bugs 
and added some nice features, like automatic conversion between CfRadial1 <-> CfRadial2 — xradar 0.8.0 documentation or Map Over Sweeps — xradar 0.8.0 documentation.
Thanks to @syedhamidali for those additions and @aladinor for the tedious refactoring of all backends to make use of new datatree features. This fast release cadence would not have been possible without you
